If you read the articles about color and more precisely "what color for my complexion? " and what color suit to buy? " You will have many elements essential to answer this question.

To marry his suit and tie, there are five major "technical":

What reason for my tie?

If you are afraid of making mistakes in taste, man-chic recommend the plain ties.
They are easier to get married because you will not have to worry about the size of the patterns!
But the reasons are not to be banned! and you can play whenever you feel comfortable with the colors.
The patterns are visible either in tonal or light patterns either by the substance of the tie.
In all cases, promote:
- Small patterns, which blend with by far the dominant color of the tie while giving the
relief,
or
- The large and medium-sized diagonal stripes (avoid more than three colors on your tie).

The recall of color with the suit / shirt with high contrast

This technique works especially well with:
- A black suit, navy blue, dark gray
- A white shirt or light blue
- A tie, respectively, black, navy blue, dark gray

The tone on tone shirt / tie

Less and less popular, the tone on tone, is not strictly speaking a safe bet, but if the color of the shirt goes with the costume, this technique we can avoid errors of taste.
Usually we will choose a tie a little darker than the shirt.
eg charcoal gray suit, purple shirt clear, plain tie violet or light blue shirt, blue tie king.

The color gradient dress / costume.

This technique is between the tones and the recall suit / tie.
Indeed, we will make a point of costume, but in a slightly different tone than the costume itself ... For example, with a gray suit and white shirt, we can wear a light gray tie, or with a brown suit, tie in shades of bronze, or blue with a navy blue suit.

The third color "flash" that contrasts and highlights.

The contrasting color is red or burgundy!
Less sharp, blue sky (photo), or pale pink are very fashionable!
Although married, this can even be color flash green or yellow!
The third color may be either a plain tie or on a diagonal stripe tie (tie "club")
