That's it, it's summer!
And many of us will get to weddings!
What better opportunity to be beautiful? Even for those who ... are hardly accustomed to wearing the costume.
The stylish man will therefore help you choose your shirt.
Today we will see how to choose sleeve length.
For a wedding, wearing the shirt (short sleeve shirt) is prohibited .. even if you been allergic people in costume, and it will be very hot ... you have to honor the bride and groom.
Choose a shirt 100% cotton. The natural material better regulate your sweating.
At worst, expect one or two spare shirts and the jacket of your favorite costume.
The long-sleeved shirt must cover the entire future of your wrist. Especially prominent bone on the side of the little finger (Os Pisiform).
In the photos below, you will see an example of a shirt whose neck is the right size.
If you have particularly long arms, several brands are more sleeve length. ( Alain Figaret , TM Lewin ...)
Do not hesitate to ask your seller!
Let's be smart, let's be smart, have shirts with sleeves the right length!

without wanting to seem psycho-rigid, wearing a shirt with the proper sleeve length is not limited to weddings and other important ceremonies, it is a daily imperative.
Moreover, the short sleeve shirt is prohibited from when you wear a jacket, not only when one is "Sunday best". I would even say that the shirt should be prohibited altogether but it would be a bit extreme, and we must consider the shirt to flower as an alternative to T-shirt ...

Hello Captain,
Man is chic totally agree with you!
This article was written in June, the month of choice for weddings, ceremonies have only served as a pretext for writing this article.
But indeed, it is good to always wear shirts with sleeves to length.
As for the blouse, you can read the convergence of our opinions in the article on the shirt .
Note that this article will be complemented by that of the length of the sleeves of the costume .

A big thank you for your effort that I suck in the classic but with you I try.
A small problem:
I'm skinny and long 1.85 cm / 68kg
Then I found exactly the problems vetses in length and round the arms (I had a gift of a jacket zara man but it seems a bit abnormal q'il on the arms and I do not know)

Hello Taha,
Thank you for your encouragement.
Indeed, a look slim and slender, your jackets must often be too large, or your sleeves too short ...
Unfortunately there are no two solutions to your problem ...
Try trademarks of "ready to wear" that offer different lengths (eg Hackett)
In two cases, these solutions will be more expensive than Zara.
In all cases, you can go to a finisher who will tell you if he can do something to help.

Hello man chic
I have your article with all my attention.
I think it lacks precision.
You mention that with the right shirt sleeve length will cover the whole of our wrist.
A shirt with sleeves too long, let alone overlap as our entire wrist.
There are no other criteria to indicate the proper length of a shirt.
For example:
Arm extended at right angles to my body.
Is that in this case, the shirt will also cover the whole of my wrist? I think not.
What should be the approximate distance between the end of the cuff of the shirt and the beginning of the hand?
