Maintenance of soles
The stylish man, can not even put his shoes .. without knowing how he will take care of leather soles!
And yes, leather soles, although very comfortable, have a flaw: if you walk on anything but the floor, or carpet, your shoes will wear ... and will become permeable to water!
Suddenly, the soles are stitched with the upper (leather shoe) by capillary water is coming your soles will get into the leather of your shoes ... and there, as long as you do not followed the advice man stylish and failed to shine your shoes, this is the drama! There are high chances that you will find white halos on the leather of your shoes ...
These tasks will be difficult to catch, you need lots of patience and shine cream (to be applied 3 or 4 times to 1 or 2 days apart without putting your shoes).
This is why you must take care of your shoes
There are then two options:
-1 - The first is to shine his shoes with a cloth. This step will waterproof your shoes.
-2 - Go to a good cobbler, and have it be a rubber pad, and built an iron at the end.
The second method is of course the easiest and the recommended man-chic .. provided of course that this is done in the state of the art!
Example of a rubber pad with embedded iron.
We note, as iron, which protects the toe of the shoe, blends into the sole.
The rubber pad has nothing to do with a vulgar "TOPY" slip.
I give you an address for the time when the job is well done: the studio of Antoine. (click on the link to see the blog) ,
Let's be smart, let's be smart, take care of the soles of our shoes!

Hello,
I read all the articles in this series, however, one question remains unanswered for me: we had to do something for the heel that crashed too slowly?
A skate? an iron?

Hello Remi,
We must change the heel when it is worn. I do not recommend putting an iron, this one would make you lose your bearings, and inevitably fall.
